What is Parents as Career Partners (PACP)?


Parents as Career Partners is a workshop that will give you, as parents/caregivers:

vital information and a range of proven activities to help you become career allies with your children; and the skills to help your children think about and help them plan their future careers
The workshops are run by trained staff from EDN | Midwest.

Who can access PACP?


Parents / caregivers - with or without your children
Teachers - with or without your students
 

What does the PACP workshop offer?

 

The workshop is flexible in length and covers a wide range of interesting and useful information. Find out:

 

  • how the world of work has changed;

  • where the real opportunities for your child are;

  • where to go for the right information; and

  • what your child needs to do to achieve his/her career goals EG how to network or use the internet to source information.

 

The workshop is customised to meet your needs and those of other parents/caregivers in your group. Simply discuss what you would like from the workshop with EDN | Midwest staff.

What does it cost?


The PACP workshops are free!

Where are the workshops held?

 

EDN | Midwest staff can plan and deliver workshops in schools and other recommended community settings.
